Absolutely love this place. Every sever is so kind and nice. Food is fabulous. The potato crochete has so many flavor, pesto pasta is soooooo fresh and the pork shank with polenta is finger licking good. Their wine list is also great. I can wait until next time to try another foods.

Novella is always such a treat! I love to sit at the bar to enjoy a delicious cocktail before dinner while chatting with the friendly staff. The food is amazing and the menu is always changing offering great variety. If your looking for a classy restaurant with great vibes stop in and check them out you won’t be disappointed.

The food here is good, and the service is phenomenal. I can't wait to come back. Their complimentary bread knocked me off my toes off the rip, it's dense and buttery with a little salt on top. The pork belly was bomb, and they put small pieces of apple in their polenta which was a real treat. I expected them to go light on portion sizing due to the nature of this restaurant, but every dish was a very hearty portion. My entree, the lasagna, came with two hearty pieces. I cannot remember the name of our waitress but she did a great job! Sorry I forgot your name.

My wife and I chose Novella Osteria to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and we were both blown away by our experience. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a restaurant staff be this synchronized. From the host stand, to the servers, to the runners, to the support staff in the dining room, the quality of the service was spectacular. They were attentive, well-timed and charming without feeling oppressive, and the food/drink recommendations were all spot on. Seriously the food was incredible, and we loved the wine as well. We both thought this was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. Highly recommended.

Excellent food! Best Cacio e Pepe I've had outside of Italy. From start to finish everything was delicious. Service was a bit slow (our server had many tables) but we didn't mind, reminded us of a leisurely meal in Italy.

Novella has been on my bucket list for awhile. It was recommended to me by a Columbus local even before I moved here. That should say something right? Anyways this restaurant exceeded expectations. For the appetizer I enjoyed the calamari fritti. It was crispy and well seasoned. Definitely a an appetizer meant for at least two! The main entree was the pork belly rotolo - their weekly special on a Friday. Gosh where do I start? It was incredibly tender and juicy with a crispy skin. The bed of mashed potatoes wasn’t intended as a focal point but I feel the need to acknowledge that it was very tasty. The only change Id make next time is pairing it with an app that isn’t the calamari as it may have been too much fatty goodness. Nevertheless I enjoyed every bit of it. Lastly I’d like to touch on the ambience. It was a busy Friday evening and I felt very lucky to get the patio seating. It had adequate shading with a small enough crowd that you didn’t feel alone or overwhelmed by the noise of the surrounding conversation. I’d definitely like to try the indoor seating next time I return. Staff were attentive, kind, and overall awesome. Thanks for a great experience, Novella.

I got the lamb ravioli and it was definitely a 10/10, the other dishes we tried were also great especially the stuff off their seasonal, the carbonara I will say the noodles were undercooked and the flavor was pretty bland. But everything else was really great, atmosphere is also very aesthetically pleasing.

Great experience at Novella! The atmosphere was beautiful and modern. Despite it being packed on a Saturday night it still was very romantic. The bread to start was delicious. For an appetizer, the meatballs were yummy and a pretty big portion for two. We got the seafood fettuccine and the rigatoni, both were especially great entrees. At the end of the meal, the lemon cookies were delicious! The only small con was that service did take a bit of time between drinks/appetizer/entree so I would recommend ordering app and entree together to take less time. Overall, a very pleasant atmosphere and experience, with some of the best Italian food in Columbus that I’ve had.
